Normally, if you ask a painting company that you will get an answer like “It depends but we’ll give you a free estimate” to avoid the question. Of course, it depends, and you know that in order to get a true, accurate price we will need to come to your home to do a thorough assessment. This doesn’t mean we can’t at least give you a good idea of how much to budget for your upcoming painting project. These prices aren’t meant to replace an in-person estimate, but hopefully this will help you budget.

Single Family Century Home

$13,000 – $20,000

Common traits include wood siding with moderately peeling paint. Homes like this often have three colors. These types of homes usually have lead-based paint so the EPA requires certain precautions. The average price is $13,000 – $20,000.

Large / Ornate Century Home

$20,000 – $30,000+

Homes like this are often larger and are beautiful homes in some of the inner ring communities. These homes often have some peeling paint and a lot of detail work. They usually feature 3 or even 4 colors. Average price is $20,000 – $30,000+.

Cedar Sided Wood Home

$7,000 – $12,000

These homes are newer (often built in the 1970’s-1990’s) and feature cedar wood siding. They require a lot of caulking but otherwise not a lot of prep work besides a thorough wash. They require applying a coat or two of a top-quality solid color stain. The average price is $7,000 to $12,000.

Aluminum Sided Home

$5,000 – $8,000

These homes were often built in the 1950’s – 1970’s. Aluminum siding does not require a ton of prep work besides a two-part wash and caulking. We refinish aluminum siding with a specific spray painting application for the best results and back our work with a 10-year warranty. Average price is $5,000 to $8,000.

Small / Regular Deck

$1,000 – $2,000

Standard size deck around 10×15 with a basic railing. Decks like this may have a solid color or semi-transparent stain. The average price is $1,000 to $2,000.

Large / Irregular Deck

$2,000 – $5,000

Larger decks or multi-level decks will definitely cost more to get washed and stained. The amount of railing is a significant factor affecting the price. The average price is $2,000 to $5,000.
